Classic Car Show
A great success that of the first Varignana 1705-branded event. The Classic Car Show excited our guests and awarded some of the most exclusive cars in the Motor Valley and beyond.
It was an excellent debut that of the Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana 1705, which after a weekend with unique moments and spectacular cars, crowned Corrado and Elena Lopresto's 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 S Berlinetta Touring as Best of Show among no less than 23 vehicles of extraordinary history and design.
Great was the excitement for Corrado Lopresto: "The satisfaction is great because winning among all the categories of a Concours d'Elegance is not easy, especially when the cars are outstanding, as in this case. Winning as Best in show is everyone's dream. I am happy to have participated in the "number zero" edition of an event that I hope will become one of the important events in the season of
international concours d'elegance."
Five other cars won first place awards in the other categories: 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS; 1950 FIAT 1100 E Vistotal; 1963 Ferrari 250 GTL; 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider; and 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL.
However, the Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana 1705 was much more: a total exaltation of beauty, elegance and passion for motors, with protagonists and guests from all over the world.
Palazzo di Varignana has confirmed itself as a place where truly Italian hospitality and food and wine are expressed at their highest levels, holding true to a "Heritage of Italian Lifestyle" that stems from the synthesis of elements that are out of the ordinary: an enchanting natural setting, a structure full of charm, an extreme search for authenticity in everything.
The history of the Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana is just at its opening chapter: appointment now for September 27-29, 2024 for new unforgettable pages.
