The Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana 1705 is not just a celebration of automotive engineering but a true tribute to the timeless elegance of classic cars. Each vehicle was carefully selected by a panel of internationally renowned experts and represents a key chapter in automotive history. Among this year's highlights were iconic models such as the Alfa Romeo Tipo 6C 1750, the Lamborghini Miura Prototype, and the Maserati 3500 Vignale Spyder, each capable of inspiring even the most discerning collectors.
The 30 competing cars, divided into six classes, including "Before the Storm," "Zuffenhausen Excellence," and "British Postcards," offered a unique overview of the evolution of automotive design and mechanics. Among the collectors present were some of the industry's most celebrated names: Corrado Lopresto, with his Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa Coupe Touring; Silvia Nicolis, who showcased a rare 1914 Benz Jadewagen; and Japan's Hidetomo Kimura, who returned this year with a stunning 1950 Fiat 1100 Ghia.
The event's guest of honor was a unique model: the Auto Avio Costruzioni 815, considered the "first Ferrari." This historical masterpiece, once owned by the great driver Alberto Ascari, was one of the edition's highlights, captivating the public with its legendary story.
The competing cars were judged by a panel of seven internationally renowned experts, led by Stefano Pasini. The event was designed not only for enthusiasts and collectors but also for those who wanted to immerse themselves in a weekend of pure beauty and automotive culture, thanks to the involvement of prestigious partners like Lallier Champagne and the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit.
