Traditional program

Varsana spa is open all year round, 7 days a week, from 9 AM to 9 PM to people over the age of 16.

The classic program of Varsana spa, included in the stay, lasts 3 hours and gives access to the Grotta dei Calanchi and Cava d’Oro Bianco, swimming pools with hydro jets, a Finnish sauna, a Mediterranean sauna, a Turkish bath, sensory showers, a music therapy pool and a relaxation room with a herbal tea corner.

In the winter season, thanks to a telescoping cover, the traditional path also includes access to the Crystal Pool, a saltwater pool with whirlpools and swimming lane. In the summer season, the Crystal Pool becomes part of the outdoor pools thanks to the opening of the telescopic cover.

In addition to the traditional path, the new Crystal Pool 2 is also accessible by reservation to children to children up to 15 years of age, accompanied by an adult.

Multifunctional pool

The indoor spa pool is spacious and thoughtfully designed, divided into two sections: one featuring a Kneipp path and the other enriched with jets, two water blades, and hydromassage seats for a complete wellness experience. The pool extends outdoors with a small section, creating an elegant connection between indoor and outdoor spaces for ultimate relaxation.

The hydromassage seating options include:

Music therapy pool

By immersing your head as well, you can enjoy relaxing music while floating on the water in this unique pool.

Temperature: 80–95°C | Humidity: 10–15%

Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna features high temperatures with low humidity. The rise in body temperature promotes toxin elimination through sweating, leaving the skin softer and smoother. It aids in muscle relaxation by reducing tension and helps strengthen the immune system.

The recommended duration is 10–15 minutes, followed by a cold shower to restore normal body temperature and provide a firming effect on the skin.

Mediterranean sauna

The Mediterranean sauna offers a mild temperature with higher humidity compared to the Finnish sauna. The gentle heat has detoxifying properties, enhancing the skin's elasticity and radiance while strengthening its resilience to temperature changes and atmospheric variations.

The recommended duration: 10–15 minutes.

Turkish bath

The Turkish bath features 100% humidity, creating a steam mist. Its detoxifying effect enhances skin softness and radiance, while also relaxing muscles and relieving tension.

Recommended duration: 10–15 minutes.

Temperature 38°C | Humidity 35%

Cava d'oro bianco

The dry heat promotes pore opening without excessive sweating, while the heated wooden benches allow for gradual muscle relaxation. The saline air, enriched with salt from the Cervia Saltworks, provides benefits for both the respiratory system and the skin.

Recommended duration: 25 minutes.

Grotta dei Calanchi

The Grotta of the Calanchi recreates the atmosphere of the region's typical caves, such as the "Calanchi" and the "Salse di Sassuno." This environment offers an immersive experience with the soothing sound of water dripping into the fountain. Salt and mud are available for DIY body treatments, supported by heated benches and floors for maximum comfort.

Recommended duration: 25 minutes, followed by a rinse in the shower or at the fountain.

Pools temperature 28° - 33° C

Crystal Pools

During the winter months, the SPA area is enhanced by two additional pools with telescopic covers, the Crystal Pools.

The first pool is divided into two distinct areas: a freshwater lane that caters to sports enthusiasts who enjoy swimming (a 14-meter lane) and a relaxation pool, unique in its kind, with hyper-saline water at 91°F (33°C). This pool features two circular whirlpool lounges with Air&Water hydro-massage and 12 bubble-massage chaise lounges.

The second pool is a recreational space where children can play in a dedicated area. The water temperature is 89.6°F (32°C), with a depth ranging from 24 to 35 inches (60 to 90 cm). This pool is divided into three zones: a recreational area for children, an 18-meter swimming lane, and a play area with circular and wall-mounted hydro-massage stations.

During the summer months, the Crystal Pools are open-air pools surrounded by a spacious solarium for guests to enjoy.

Rules

We kindly ask our guests to follow some simple rules for better relaxation and well-being:

Reservation is required to access the spa as well as the indoor and outdoor pools
For more comfort, guests staying at the resort are requested to change in their rooms before entering the pools
The use of swimming caps is mandatory inside the Varsana spa pools
Sunbeds cannot be reserved for personal use and we kindly ask our guests to share common equipment
Respect quiet areas
Avoid shouting, noisy games, and public displays of affection
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the SPA, but may use our upstairs pools accompanied and supervised by an adult
Children who normally wear a diaper should wear a swim diaper while in the swimming pools
Pets are not allowed inside the pool and solarium area
Eating is not allowed near the swimming pools
Only floatation systems compliant with safety regulations are allowed in the pools
Do not use the swimming pools during thunderstorms
Follow the instructions of the personnel
